First reported by The New York Times today – Jon Sale, a Florida-based white-collar attorney, will represent Giuliani in the matter of the Congressional Impeachment Inquiry. Sale served as an assistant special Watergate prosecutor and is a former assistant U.S. attorney.
In an interview with CNN today Oct. 1st, Giuliani declined to say whether he will comply with the subpoena.
Based on the same sources Jon Sale told CNN he had just started looking into the requests. When asked if Giuliani planned to comply, he said that
“What I’ve already learned is this is very complex… I really have to study it. I can’t shoot from the hip… Every time I turn around, Rudy’s on another TV show… He and I could have a conversation, and then I turn on the television and he could be doing something else.”
