President Donald Trump is succeeding to unite Congress in condemnation of his Syria policies, at a time when Democrats and Republicans are divided over impeachment.
Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham – In a rare public break with Trump, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, a vocal defender of the president and frequent adviser on matters of foreign policy, criticized today on “Fox & Friends,
” the partial pullout saying the “impulsive decision by the president has undone all the gains we’ve made, thrown the region into further chaos… I hope I’m making myself clear how shortsighted and irresponsible this decision is in my view.”
And Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham tweeted:

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney (a Frequent Trump critic) also denounced the move as
“a betrayal that tells our allies abroad that we’re an unreliable partner”
Republican Sen. Ben Sasse (Neb.) warned that Trump’s
“bad decision will likely result in the slaughter of allies who fought with us, including women and children.”
