WHITE HOUSE – Greg Brower (served as the FBI’s top liaison to Congress until 2018) said today:
“He appears to be a subject, if not a target of an active investigation. So to have him be a part of the legal team would be troublesome to say the least… At best, it’s a messy situation and more likely it’s just completely dysfunctional.”
Former Mayor was not at the White House earlier the last 4 days when his fellow President lawyers met with Drumpf for a brief impeachment strategy session.
Giuliani’s efforts to dig up dirt on the president’s political opponents have landed him in a congressional impeachment investigation. At the same time two of Giuliani’s friends and foreign-born business associates are headed to trial on federal charges. Because mostly of the aforementioned cases, former New York Mayor’s responsibilities are shrinking as President’s personal attorney.
The last Giuliani’s public comment two days ago Wednesday reads:
“everything I did was to discover evidence to defend my client against false charges.”
