Donald Trump, 26 days before the presidential election, managed today, something extremely unusual, against two of his most loyal associates, Mike Pompeo and Bill Barr.
WASHINGTON: Mike Pompeo, first as a CIA director and then as head of the State department, is one of the few members of the Trump’s cabinet who has resisted to the wave of resignations and dismissals the last four years,
The president, who is accustomed criticizing his cabinet members and advisers, has almost never attacked Mike Pompeo the last 4 years.
At a phone interview with Fox Business, Trump, who has been forced off the campaign trail by diagnosis of COVID 19 last week, demanded that both Pompeo and Barr, take action concerning the previous administration of Barack Obama.
Trump said Pompeo should find a way to release Hillary Clinton’s emails… President said about the subject:
“They’re in the State Department but Mike Pompeo has been unable to get them out, which is very sad, actually. I’m not happy about him for that reason, He’s running the State Department — you get them out.”
President Trump who is trailing in polls to Joe Biden, has been urging Bill Barr to prosecute members of the Obama administration for investigating his campaign’s relationship with Russia four year. Trump said about Bill Barr:
“To be honest, Bill Barr is either going to go down as the greatest attorney general in the history of the country or he’s going to go down as a very sad situation… I mean, I’ll be honest with you, he’s got all the information he needs,”
